Professional Laminating Systems Ultra-Duty Welded Steel Stand

PLS laminator stands are manufactured in house. We use thick walled cold rolled carbon steel tubing. The stand tube cap was removed for better illustration of the tube wall thickness

The tubing is then cut to size, cnc machined and welded by experienced welders. It is then powder coated with the fine textured finish as shown.

To facilitate practical shipping, the stand does require very simple assembly as shown below. We use the strongest components and mounting hardware that is practical. The picture below shows the simplicity of assembly

The unwind mandrel supports are machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum bar and require no installation. These mandrel supports allow for a extraordinary 22" maximum lower roll dia. (see Film Capacity for upper film roll dia.). This capacity allows the operator to mount unusual items such as fabrics and foams. Keep in mind when ordering materials that the weight of large rolls may be excessive and render it difficult or impossible to load them onto the machine.

Each stand is equipped with heavy duty adjustable glides. The UHMW pad on the bottom is non-marring and the steel body is nickle plated for corrosion resistance

Available as an option, for ease of moving and positioning the laminator over most surfaces, are a set of swivel caster. These casters are a direct replacement for the glides. These large wheels (3") facilitate moving and positioning over most surfaces. These casters are recommended when it is necessary to move the machine often. This final picture is shown with the black, tube cap in place as it would be from factory.
